Rainy Day Recap

It's rainy today and gross out. As I laid in my bed hearing the rain pelt down on the roof all I could think was comfy and cozy. Luckily, my work scheduled allowed for that (no need to dress to impress today as I didn't have any meetings - a rarity!). So, I grabbed this cute sweatshirt from Forever 21 that had arrived a couple of days prior. I love all of the glasses all over it, and apparently so do others because I've gotten a ton of compliments on it today. Unfortunately, it looks like the clearance price of $10 has made it sell out, so sorry if you wanted to grab one yourself!

And here is a little recap of other things I have been doing, buying and wearing:

I saw this cute iPad case (or use it as a clutch) on Pinterest (top pic), so I decided to make one of my own. I scored this fun teal case for a steal a while back and within 20 minutes, some vinyl and my Cricut Mini I had a case/clutch of my own!

I scored three new pairs of shoes from a favorite local store that sells overstocks and returns for QVC, HSN, Macy's and other companies. These three pairs of shoes retail would have been over $350 all together, but I got them for $15 - FOR ALL THREE! Yeah buddy, only $5 a pair!


Speaking of shoes, I stalked Piperlime for a while and the great prices they had on Badgley Mischka heels for a potential pair of wedding shoes. I like a couple, but didn't LOVE anything. And since I still have plenty of time I will keep on looking (hard to tell but the pair on the left is a purple/teal iridescent fabric and on the right we have a grey iridescent fabric).


How do other bloggers take cute "sneak peek" pics of their outfits? I just can't seem to do it, but this is a little look of an outfit that I wore last week while shopping with some friends. I scored the top (MNG by Mango) for only $4 - it was on clearance plus I had a coupon.

Dave bought me the most adorable bracelet for Valentine's Day. He said he ordered it back in January, but it just got delivered this past week. I love it big time. "Lovely Kimberly" is joke between us. Anyone remember in Mad Men this past season when Don addresses a note to "Lovely Megan"? When I saw that I told Dave he should call me Lovely Kimberly and he agreed. He only does it on occasion, but it makes me smile when he does.
