Traveling Scarf - Round #3, Stop #17

TravelingScarf_Afford

The Traveling Scarf headed east to visit Minister of Style. And let me tell you, this minister is really brining the style. She featured the Traveling Scarf in three different ways.

Traveling Scarf - Minister of Style

In her words:

The moment I saw the “scarf”, I knew exactly what I was going to wear with it. That scarf screamed out; wear the grey Adrienne Vittadini sheath with me. Who was I to ignore what the scarf wanted, so when Kimberly emailed to let me know the scarf was on its way, I became stoked. But stoked didn’t even compare when I came home yesterday to a brown envelope addressed by someone I was unfamiliar with. It only took me two second to realize that this was the scarf….ooh baby, my excitement went into overdrive as I immediately went into the house, put the kid down and started pulling out my outfit to wear with the scarf.

I was excited to pair grey and green together, I had never tried this color combination before but I knew it was going to mesh beautifully together. I just tied the scarf around my waist as a oversized sash, not too creative, so I decided to make a vest and it belted it but my true stroke of genius came when I decided to make the scarf into a blouse to wear out for an evening of clubbing or what you kids do when you go out. I wrapped the scarf like a sarong put a cami underneath for modesty, a black pencil skirt and my black patent peep toe pumps, a clutch and BAM ... instant one of a kind blouse for a chic evening look. I also did a quick headwrap that would have been fab with jeans.

The scarf is now on its way to the next participant and I hated to see it go, however I do know where I can get one from. Thanks, Kimberly and Affordable Scarves.
