Last week I reshared my wardrobe recaps from 2008 and 2009 and since we are in this last week of 2010 here is this year's recap.
First up, I randomly selected one outfit from each month:

Next up, my statistics for the year. This numbers are calculated on the 176 daily outfit pictures I took in 2010 (as of the time I typed this up).
I wore a belt 44% of the time (-13% from 2009, -4% from 2008), a scarf as a belt 5% of the time (-2% from 2009, -5% from 2008) and utilized built in belts on dresses and tops 8% of the time (same as 2009, +1% from 2008) for a grand total of 57% of the days having some sort of waist definition (-15% from 2009, -8% from 2008). I still love my waist definition, but I lowered my percentages greatly. I felt I relied on belts too heavily in years' past and made an effort to accessorized in other ways in 2010.
I wore black or charcoal gray as the base color in my outfits on 98 days for a total of 56% of the time (same percentage as 2009).
I wore a skirt or dress 60% of the time (-4% from 2009, +12% from 2008)! I realize I still don't wear a lot of pants during my Monday - Thursday "work wear". The percentage drop probably stems from a full year of having "Casual Fridays".
And a couple of new categories for 2010:
I wore a scarf 18% of the days (not as a belt).
I wore a cardigan in 36% of my outfits (such a great layering piece throughout the year).
I added a trendy necklace 55% of the time. Necklaces really are my favorite accessory!
Also, in looking at this recap vs. the past two years it looks like I gravitated towards larger prints this year.
All in all, I feel I had a successful year wardrobe wise. I added some great pieces, still relied on some old favorites and dressed appropriately for my job and lifestyle throughout the year.
Here's to 2011, fabulous readers, I can't wait to spend it with you.

Kim,
When I click on your pics, I can't access them on flickr.
Feena, I keep all my photos private on flickr. Is there any reason you need to be able to see them on flickr vs. On the blog? Thanks.
I thought when I click on the month, it would take me to all your daily outfits in that month. But I think that is not how it is setup. That's okay, I am not missing anything. I discovered your blog a few months ago and learned a lot about clothes and styling. I am a new immigrant to Canada and did not know anything about how to pull outfits together before I found your blog. Thanks for inspiration.
I like how all the outfits are very distinct, but also show a cohesive style. Here's to another fashionable year :)
Oh my goodness, where are the pie charts?
I love your dedication to analyzing your wardrobe.
And the august look is my fave!
I always love the year-end statistical analysis of your wardrobe; it satisfies my analytical nature. :-) It's also great to see how your style continues to evolve over the course of the year; here's to more fabulous styling in 2011! Happy new year, Kimberly!
I, too, love the year end summary :) I think March and April are my top two, though I love them all!
Eeee I love your year-end stats! It's awfully interesting.
Just found your blog today. Love that there are women of different sizes. I will be checking back
Dawn :)
