I'm back from my whirlwind trip to New York City (a short 48 hours!), and let me just say it was GREAT!! I have so much to share, but thought I would at least get a couple of outfits posted.

On Tuesday, I knew we were going to be spending a lot of time sitting during the JMS Style Symposium*, so I opted for some comfy layers and ponte knit skirt.

Purple LS Tee - Forever 21, $13 (Oct. 2010)
Black Open Front Cardi - Burlington, $8 (Sept. 2010)
Scarf - Patricia Field for HSN, clearance for $20-ish (2009)
Black Belt - NY & Co, on sale for $14 (Spring 2009)
Black Ponte Knit Skirt - Avenue, $19 (Oct. 2010)
Black Studded Booties - Avenue, clearance for $11 (Summer 2010)

On Wednesday, I needed an outfit that would take me right from the JMS Fashion Show to the airport, so again, layers and ponte knit were the winning combo. I got this shirt from JMS the day before and couldn't wait to incorporate it.
After the show model Tricia Campbell and I posed for a picture.

Leopard Print LS Tee - compliments of Just My Size (Walmart is sold out of this version (but has Phlox still available), but the JMS Website still has the Grey, Phlow & Fudge Colors)
Red Dress - Avenue, $30 (2009)
Black Belt - NY & Co, on sale for $14 (Spring 2009)
Black Studded Booties - Avenue, clearance for $11 (Summer 2010)

*Disclosure: JMS/Just My Size provided all of my travel accommodations including flight, hotel, meals and more to attend their Style Symposium. In return, I will be sharing what I saw and heard while attending here on FFUF, on facebook and Twitter. I hope you enjoy learning more about the brand in the coming days.

So glad to see you are safe and sound. It looks like you had a blast, and you certainly had a fantastic outfit :)
What a fabulous group! I'm glad that you had a good time. I love the way that you seamlessly belted your scarf as if it were part of the cardigan.
