The skirt I am wearing today I bought almost a year and a half ago and have only worn once. I love the skirt - the colors, the metallic silver design. The lack on wearing stemmed from not knowing what to wear with it. A plain white top seemed boring, gray and yellow on top seemed a bit too matchy-matchy and so on. With that, this skirt got stuck to the back of my closet without much thought. So, when I saw the picture below I knew I had to make it part of the Outfit Inspiration Calendar, so I would be prompted to wear this great skirt again.

And my take on the look:

Gray Tank - Old Navy, sale for $2 (Spring 2010)
Blue Cardigan - NY & Co, $25 (Summer 2009)
Skirt - Isda & Co/Thrifted, $5 (March 2009)
Necklace - compliments of Lane Bryant
Purple Slingback Heels - Simply Vera/Kohl's, $30 (Spring 2009)

Love! Are those roses on the bottom of the skirt?
Gorgeous!!! I love blue and yellow together. You look incredible!
Isn't that always the hard part about interesting pieces? I like your choice - it looks great! Wonder if a mustard-yellow cardigan would work with it?
The skirt is nice and for $5.00...that's great. Sometimes I'm hesitant to get rid of certain clothes because you may finally realize what to wear with it or how to wear it.

Beautiful! I love a blue/gray/green combo. I scrapbooked a page using that color theme once and now I'm in love with it! Soft and cozy but cool all at the same time!
As ALWAYS...I love your interpretation of this look! It's genius. You've really got a gift, lady!
