When you think of Dressbarn do you think of looks straight out of a magazine? Right off of the runway? I have to admit I didn't. However, a couple of weeks ago the fab people at Dressbarn ask me to send them a couple of pictures of looks I was loving and in return they would send me item from their current collection that embodied the inspiration.
I sent them these pictures - one from a recent Louis Vuitton runway show, a couple of magazine looks from Lucky and InStyle and a look Nicole Richie rocked recently.
In return, Dressbarn sent me this gorgeous dress*! Belted Waist - check! Black/White - check! Sophisticated Silhouette - check! Gorgeous Print - check!
And to top it all off it is a fab find under $50 (only $49.99 in fact).
As far I am concerned Dressbarn nailed it. I'll be headed to the store soon to see what other hot pieces they have for fall. Have you shopped Dressbarn lately? What from their fall collection is calling your name?
*Dressbarn provided this dress to me complimentary.

Lucky you!! Love that dress!
I bought two tops at DressBarn last night. Although they're a little pricey (for me!), I think their stuff is fabulous!
i haven't been to dressbarn in YEARS. The first and last time I stepped into one I had to of been 16 or 17... it was all "old lady wear." have they changed a lot since then?
I have gotten several dresses there recently; they have good sales & promotions. GREAT place to shop for vintage- and retro-inspired looks. (You just have to dig past some of the more matronly pieces to find them.) There is a deep purple portrait collar dress in the spring collection that I love; it's one of my favorite pieces ever! (Unfortunately I can't find a photo online to share.)
You are going to make some fantastic outfits with that dress. It's perfect for your style! I've not been to Dress Barn in years...it's the whole "barn" thing. But I'll swing by soon.
I bought a black/white dotted blouse and a white denim jacket in there last month. There isn't one really close to me, so I don't get in there too often. I wish they had an online store.
Love the dress, Kim! Wish Dress Barn sold on-line...have found some cute dresses and tops.
I believe they are opening an on-line store soon.
They still have some "old-lady" stuff in there, but I find it's the only place I can go that has stuff that fits me without spending hours looking through racks.
I love Drssbarn and I love this dress.
I used to have a closet full of DB clothing..thought it was all completly RETRO...and stylish.....untill I started working here! The quality of the fabric and the fact that most of the clothes only last through 2 or 3 washes... totally put me off! Not to mention...the fact that my manager takes back EVERYTHING.... even dirty, worn clothes (and pantyhose) and puts them DIRECTLY BACK ONTO THE FLOOR!!! Completly soured me to this company!!!
