Reader Question - Rehearsal Dinner Dress

ReaderQuestion

I love your blog and you always have such great ideas for people that I figured I would turn to you. I am getting married on 7/24 and I am in desperate need of a rehearsal dinner dress. The rehearsal dinner will be at an old country inn that is a bit on the formal side. It's also July in Philadelphia so it is bound to be hot and muggy. I'm an 18/20 with an hour glass shape and I tend to look good in dresses like this.

Amanda, congrats on your upcoming nuptials! I pulled together a few looks that I think would be great for your special night.

First up, a simple wrap dress accessorized with some bling and metallic heels would be a great look. Plus, this dress can become a true workhorse in your wardrobe as you can wear it with everything from flip flops to tights and boots in the colder months.

If you want something a bit more dramatic this one shoulder dress would be fun paired with the patterned obi belt to play up your hourglass figure along with colorful heels.

Lastly, you can never go wrong with a feminine floral pattern. Again, I paired the dresses with metallic heels to had a bit of sparkle and increase the "dressiness" of the outfit.

I vote for the second look! It's both classy and fun.

Delurking to say that I love the second look so much I might copy it for my upcoming 20th high school reunion - unless you want to come up with another option or 2 for me! : )
