But honestly, it is just as comfortable to throw something on like this - a comfy outfit made up of cotton with just a bit of spandex to keep things stretchy.

wicked cute!
i had the same morning - first, i had leggings on and a teeshirt, and realized how work inappropriate that would be, so i went back to my dresser and grabbed a pair of boyfriend jeans, a black lace trimmed cami, and cardigan with a pair of ballet flats. i still feel "ugh" - next time, i will follow your lead and try a punch of color to try and snap me out of my funk!
I want the shoes!!!!!!!!! Checked, but no longer avail. :(
The outfit looks great on you and it is so nice to have something on that is cute AND comfortable! I love the pattern mixing in your top vs shoes =)
I recently discovered your blog and am looking forward to learning more about your inspiration calendar. Also, sorry to hear you woke up with a headache. Hope you feel better and have a great day!
I could not get out of the house this morning! I tried on 3 outfits before I decided on the one I'm wearing! So glad it's Friday! I usually avoid horizontal stripes, but I really love your orange shirt!
You are so right. I've never been a fan of tees and sweats. You look adorable! I love the orange stripes with the yellow necklace.
Those shoes are AMAZING!!!!
I agree with you; those first outfits are frumpy and boring! On our Casual Fridays I try to dress down a bit, yet still look well put together and classy. I love the colors here, and love the shoes!!
I do not look this cute when I have a headache and feel icky.
You rock. :) I love the orange and yellow together!
I love the orange and those shoes are so awesome!!! Stripes are my fav.. they really make me smile, lol

I'm glad you opted for chic comfort. This is fabulous!
I love this! I love the stripes mixed with the funky shoes (which I want to just take right off your feet!) and the bright necklace. This doesn't look like something you just "threw on"--you look great!
I'm all about stripes lately, and am now on the hunt for a striped tee in a bright color. Great outfit, per usual.
I admit I'm more like the people in the pictures that you posted. You inspire me to do better. Keep up the great work.
looking great as always Kim!!
I absolutely ADORE this! The pattern mixing is divine, and I love the unexpected yellow necklace.
Those sandals are the BOMB
Love, love, love the look! Beautiful!
