Daily Outfit - 07/07/10

dailywear

I'm back today with another wrap dress. Now, I know for some ladies wrap dresses are perfect because you toss on one and you are done. However, being the layering-accessories-color-mixing fiend that I am I can find them a little boring. So today, I opted to layer a pop of color under the dress and to add a sash belt from another top to the waist of the dress. Add a fun necklace and some snakeskin heels, and I'm not feeling too bored.

Wrap Dress - Walmart, $20 (2006/2007?)
Teal Cami & Patterned Sash - from this Nicole by Nicole Miller Top (2008)
Necklace - For Love/Forever 21, $13 (Summer 2009)
Snakeskin Heels - Marshalls, no more than $30 (2007)

Hey Kimberly! I just wanted to share a Fab Find story with you (you've made me soo fashion conscious and I'm so grateful for it!) I've been looking for some strappy white heel sandals but literally couldn’t find any (DSW, Broadway..anywhere!) I was going to ask for your help but Monday I went to Sears and found Kaya Womens Mari White which were PERFECT. I didn’t get them, even tho the $29 tag is a steal...I went online to sears.com and found them for $24.99 and with an additional 15% off at check out. I put my cart at $50 with 3 dresses and that made my shipping free (talk about fab finds AT 50!) Thanks for making me a clever shopper!

Oh I just love this!!! I tend to get a little bored sometimes too and I love how you added so much more interest to the dress.

The pops of teal are so pretty and I'm drooling over those shoes. Fabulous!

Cute outfit! How do you keep your cami from creeping up to your waist during the day? I always have that issue.

Love it! I always seem to pair blues and reds with animal print. What other colors would look good with animal prints (possible post idea)?

You are a master pattern-mixer. I am in awe, always, of your ability to put things together and have them look so effortless! I love the colors today, to boot!
