Daily Outfit - 07/06/10

dailywear

Can we just take a moment and talk about how nearly impossible it was to get out of bed and moving this morning?! Man oh man, 3-day weekends are nice, but they made this morning rough. A simple wrap dress seemed like the way to go - easy to toss on, comfy, and cool.

I wore this dress to a casual outdoor wedding a couple of weekends ago. Some dude told me I looked like zebra that got in fight with a neon light - - then again this was the same guy I spied in "Hefty" (yes, like the trash bags) T-shirt earlier in the day.

Wrap Dress - Ashley Stewart, clearance for $20 (June 2010)
Black Tank - Old Navy, sale for $2 (May 2010)
Necklace - Princess, $10 (June 2010)
Friendship Bracelet* - Boss' Daughter, $5 (June 2010)
Black Heels - Michael Kors/6pm.com, $55 (Dec. 2009)

*I saw in a magazine last month friendship bracelets by some "designer" for $125 (they had a silly little charm on them, but that was the only thing that made them "special"). So, when my boss' daughter was in the other day making friendship bracelets I had to buy one from her. I added a large lobster clasp to mine so I can take it off easily. I love that it goes so well with my dress today!

Love this dress!

You're not the only one who is sluggish today. I did not want to get up.

two enthusiastic thumbs up on this dress! the color, the shape, everything.

you give me the motivation to want to wear more color - I am usually wearing all solids, and usually black or light black (grey).

Can I ask a questions? You seem to buy a lot of things each month (today's outfit has 3 June 10 items) and I am not criticising that. I was just wondering whether you sell/donate older items regularly, or whether you have endless storage space in your home? I am now operating a one-in one-out policy on shoes as I am out of storage space!
