I have wanted an anorak/army-esque type jacket for a while now. So, when I spied this lightweight (it isn't lined, so it is basically like wearing a cotton shirt!) olive green jacket at Burlington Coat Factory for $15 I grabbed it! I love that I can cinch in the waist a little to give it a feminine shape also. My first thought for my Casual Friday Outfit was to layer the jacket over a white tee with denim, but then I saw this colorful tank hanging in my closet. I love how the tank has blue and the same olive green in it, plus then it lead me to wear my pink sparkle flats. The juxtaposition between the casual olive green jacket and pink sequins makes me smile!
Lastly, can I just say how much I love this tank - you can wear it casual or with a suit (
like I did last time!)

I love this outfit! This must be the jacket that you said reminded you of the gray one I wore a couple weeks ago. So cute. And that tank is excellent.
I have a very similar jacket that I bought in the spring at Ann Taylor Loft. I haven't worn it as much as I should have because it got so hot so early here. My sister bought one at the same time, and she said that she wears a jacket just about every day. I have to work Monday because of a crisis situation, so I may wear it with jeans that day (it's our holiday, so we can dress casually).
LOVE the look of that jacket! Cinched waist is too cute.
I love this! I really like the way the army jacket and the girlie tank pair up and play off of each other. And I would kill for those sparkly flats.
