Reader Question - Purple Shoes

Hey Kimberly! I have been following your blog for a while now and I love how you put things together. Especially your knack for taking a basic outfit and adding fun "pops" of color. That said, I thought you would be the perfect person to help me figure out how to wear these purple shoes*. I bought them on a whim, and I love them, but I am thinking of returning them because they are not practical or neutral enough. Do you have any ideas on how to wear them?

Wooh-wooh-wooooooooh, stop right there, there will be no returning of these super cute sandals!! Purple is totally a neutral! Just look at all the ways I wore a purple pair of shoes last summer - here, here, here, and well . . . you get the idea!

Left to Right:
- Kick it casual in a tee and denim cropped pants
- I adore yellow and purple together and this combination of a summery dress with the sandals is no exception.
- Pair with jeans and feminine top like this one from eShakti
- Another great color combo is pairing it with more purple on top and a cute gray skirt.
- Slip on with a maxi dress, shrug and incorporate the purple by adding a necklace with the shade.
