Scarf* - trifted in Las Vegas, $5 (Feb. 2010) - to add a bit of color and utilize my scarf collection more I tied the scarf onto the jacket's drawstring ties.
Sandals - Coach (2007)
The scarf has the word "jadrolinija" written on it which when I Googled it pulled up a bunch of sites about Croatia. Anyone know anything else about this possible brand of scarf, by chance?

You look great in this outfit! I don't think it's too dark for the season, either. The length of the pants, the shoes and colorful cami keep it seasonal. Very pretty!

The LAST thing I ever thought I would do is convince people to wear more black ;) I love your rendition, especially what you did with the scarf, and it looks perfectly summery! I'm gonna have to get me a short sleeved blazer. Such a great piece.
I feel the same way - it's hard to wear a lot of black in the summer. what a great way to wear a scarf. I'm going to try that out next time I wear that jacket.
