Hats and head coverings can be great in the summer when you want to add a bit of glam before heading off to the farmers market, an outdoor music festival and more.
I have to admit I went a little berserk myself in pulling together a fun mix of hats (click through to see all of the options) and turbans that you can easily incorporate into your own casual wardrobe.

I love hats on other ppl and I think SATC will not dissapoint at all! What do you think abt the turban? I've seen it in a lot of mags and online, I think for sure Carrie can rock it, but I personally don't like the look.
oooh you know I am a sucker for cute headcovers! I am always on the lookout for cute turbans, but the fun patterned ones seem to always be headband rather than full styles.
Alltumbledown - you rock the headcovers better than anyone I know. I didn't spy many patterned full turbans - just the leopard one above, but I have a feeling more and more will be available after SATC 2 is released!
V - I am not a big hat wearer either, but I think it is my fashion goal for Summer 2010. As for the turban, love the look on Carrie and might rock it around the house/pool, but not sure about out casually. Then again it took me all summer last year to buy a maxi dress and already this year I have close to 10. Ha!
This reminds of a episode of So noTORIous where Tori Spelling was trying to bring back the turban and her friends were like "um, no". Am I the only one who watched? Love your blog!!!
Maria, I have to admit I missed the boat when So noTORIous was on, but I adore Tori! I actually just ordered the Series on DVD (along with the SATC 2 book) from Amazon. Can't wait to get it and devour every minute of it!
I can't pull off hats with my fantastically large head, but I like them on other people. Turbans, not so much. They remind me of cancer.
