I wasn't really feeling it in this outfit this morning, but I have received a lot of compliments already. April has been a tricky month for dressing with the wide variance in temps and not being ready for my true summer stuff yet.
The one thing I do love about the outfit - the shoes!! I ordered these last week from Coach and while they weren't under $50 they were on sale. I know they will be my go-to summer heels (kind of like the Michael Kors ones I wore all the time this past winter)!
Cardi - TJ Maxx, $20 (April 2009)
Black Belt - mark/Avon, $8 (2007)
Evie Heels - Coach (April 2010)
White Watch -Inexpensive Watches, $23 (March 2010)

that cardi = fabulous!
Glad you're raking in the compliments, lady, because that whole ensemble is marvelous.
Sexy shoes! And all your maxi dress looks are making me want to try it out in my office! Now if it'll get above 50 maybe I could do it!
The shoes are really amazing! I'd wear them all the time, too!
Rock those shoes all summer! They were worth the over $50 splurge!
You've looked so great in all your maxi dresses - any tips for those of us on the short side? I've tried a few on and really like them, but they make me look even shorter than the 5'4" I stretch myself to! Is this a trend that you should stay away from if you are under 5'6" or so?
Kimberly-I should have read yesterday's post first, but I didn't have time then and today's post was in my Reader first! You answered my questions yesterday about the maxi dresses! Sorry to re-question!!
I love the maxi dress, ties so nicely into your last post! Those shoes are awesome! So strappy!
are yah kidding me?!? this whole outfit is gawjuuzzz darlin! and those shoes are killer! love em!
What Sal said. That cardigan is wonderful, and props for being able to walk in those shoes.
OMG, are you crazy you look wonderful and I sure love the outfit. I do know how you feel because I was going nuts last night because I didn't know what in the world I was going to wear this morning...LOL
I love this outfit!!
I have one question, and it's going to sound stupid: how do you keep your belt in place? When I wear a belt that doesn't have loops on the clothes to guide it... the belt rides up inevitably just below the boobs and it looks ridiculous.
those shoes are H O T. Love the cardi + maxi look- you totally make this work appropriate but fun!
i'm in LOVE with your shoes!
I ordered that belt too! It's one of my fave staples. I adore your blog.
You look amazing in this outfit. The belt placement is just right for your figure, and the long dress flatters you so much. I think this is one of your best looks yet.
