Earlier in the week
Affordable Scarves tweeted (@affordscarves) about a new scarf they had in stock - the "Glam Rock Necklace Scarf" and I just had to have it. Since my order was delivered yesterday I felt the need to incorporate this scarf into the mix today. I really like the extra texture it gives to the outfit. I ordered a couple of other new styles too, but those will have to wait for another day to make their debut!

Dress - Ross, $17 (Feb. 2010)
Black Blazer - Target, clearance for $15 (2007)
Turquoise Turtleneck - NY & Co, clearance for $10 (Jan. 2010)
Glam Rock Necklace Scarf - Affordable Scarves, $12 (Feb. 2010) (detail pic from Affordable Scarves show in pic above)
Heels - Michael Kors/6pm.com, $55 (Dec. 2010)
Later today the March Outfit Inspiration Calendar will be posted - be sure to check it out!

What a fun piece! And jersey scarves are SO soft and comforting.
I really like that scarf. And you put it together great!
I love the whole outfit today!! Its one of my favorites of yours.
The scarf is so great!
Super chic. I am really feeling the scarves too! Im going to order some today!
Great look. Love the scarf.
Thanks for all your inspiration. I am learning how dress all over again!
I love the swirly circles on your dress and what a neat scarf! I've been meaning to try a DIY for one of those scarves, involving an Exacto knife and an old t-shirt, maybe I'll finally give it a try!
Love how you put the whole outfit together and that scarf rocks!
I love that scarf!! I'm on the website right now forcing myself to not buy every single one of these scarves.
The only ones I wouldn't buy are the pashminas - I live close to a city where they're sold on every street corner for $5!
I may have to get one of the infinity scarves...
I made a similar scarf using this tutorial: http://eatdrinkandbecrafty.blogspot.com/2009/08/diy-loop-scarf.html
Super easy and cheap. I've also seen them with splatter painting or bleaching done to the shirt before cutting, and they come out great. Just another option for frugal fashionistas!
I love your use of color in this look. And the new necklace/scarf is awesome!
