Today's
Outfit Inspiration Calendar called for "Go Girly with Pearls". Which I have to admit inspired me to pull out a couple of pearl necklaces I haven't worn in quite some time. I also tied on a pretty paisley silk scarf on the necklaces for a little extra interest and pattern mixing. However, I couldn't resist adding a bit of a menswear touch to the outfit with the striped shirt and flipped back cuffs. Also, I opted to wear these deep burgundy heels as they reminded me of the
burgundy wingtips a past male co-worker of mine use to wear. He was a true southern gentleman, and I miss working with him.

I like that warm yellow color. It does look nice with stripes. Very pretty outfit today--your shoes are fab!
I also had to dig around for my pearl necklace! My outfit isn't quite as fabulous as yours, though. I put on red shoes, too!
