I knew I had this skirt (which I had only worn once) and this cardi (which I had never worn) with the awesome detailing on the back (see detail picture below), and this inspiration picture would prompt me to pull them out and wear them. Also, I think it is a totally cool color combo!
Black Turtleneck - TJ Maxx, $13 (Dec. 2009)
Gray Cardi - TJ Maxx, $17 (Dec. 2009)
Skirt - Thrifted, $0.69 (Spring 2009)
Black Belt - NY & Co, on sale for $10 (2008)
Gray Heels - Nine West/TJ Maxx, $35 (Fall 2009)
Necklace - NY & Co, on sale for $20, (Summer 2009)
PURSE UPDATE - The Longchamp has been sold and will be making its way to Monica in NYC today (thanks, Monica!). I have updated yesterday's posting with pictures of my actual Coach bag. I have a couple of interested readers, but nothing official yet. Feel free to email me if you are interested!
Lastly, Calli Emma wanted to say "Hello and be sure to check back later since the February Inspiration Calendar will be posted this afternoon!".

Love the colors and the puppy!! But the puppy wins the cute vote this morning. :)

Nothing like a shot of orange to perk up a winter ensemble!

Your puppers is super, super cute! Also, love the outfit. I might have to do something like this Friday when I finally work next!
that is a perfect color combo.. I really like it!
I love that skirt! Accordion pleats are my fave! And holy amazing details, Batman - that cardi is so good!
I love this Kimberly!! And I think you are totally allowed to be selfish - it is your inspiration calendar isn't it. :)
This is so sweet! I didn't like my outfit today with this color combo but I'm going to totally try it again soon.
That skirt is AMAZING! I love the gray/black with it, too.
I thought the inspiration picture was so cute that I looked through my closet for anything coral. I didn't find anything. Orange, yes, coral, no. When I was out running errands over the weekend, a few coral items jumped out at me. I didn't buy them, however, I just felt that it was a color that would make my skin look red. Maybe if I could have done like you did and wear coral on the bottom instead of near my face, I would have felt better about it. Now I will have to look for a cute coral skirt!
great interpretation...love it!
