This past weekend I ran into Meijer in hopes of finding jicama (my other grocery store didn't have any). The jicama they had was past its prime, but I did score this great addition to my stripes collection and some cheesy 90% holiday table clothes and napkins (which will be perfect for the Christmas in July Party we are planning on hosting). You just never know what you find!
Black/White Stripe Turtleneck - Meijer, on sale for $5.50 (Jan. 2010)
Yellow Swing Jacket - Kmart, clearance for $17 (Late Spring 2009)
Necklace - made by me (Spring 2009)
"Denim" Skirt - TJ Maxx, $25 but purchased with a gift card (Dec. 2009)
Belt - NY & Co, on sale for $10 (2008)
Heels - Michael Kors/6pm.com, $55 (Dec. 2009)
A look at how I've worn this jacket in the past:

love yellow and grey!
and you've made me re-think wearing stripes...i'm a well-endowed gal and the old phrase of not wearing horizontal stripes haunts me so i usually steer clear...but for some reason never thought of layering them! thanks!
Oh, I love it! Great stripes addition. Your necklace looks perfect with this too.
I love how you pair that jacket with the slim stripes. I also liked the previous outfit w/ the chunky stripes, too! At first, I was like, "Wait, did she repeat an outfit?!" but then I realized the stripes were different sizes, and that my memory is the problem! :-)
I love the tiny stripes on the turtleneck - so chic! Still amazed at your bib necklace and what a score on the shoes! Such classic shape and Michael Kors shoes are my favorites - so comfy and cute!
I can't tell you how the calendar has been helping me!! I've got a closet full of clothes (many with tags still on them--I've got a serious shopping problem...). For the last week I've been able to pull together new outfits from my old things and am not at all tempted to shop!!
I also want to compliment you on your style, I read plenty of fashion blogs and while many of the girls are stylish, they aren't very work appropriate! You help me look good and professional.
And I love the yellow!
I love that yellow jacket!
I love it styled this way best! You look great!
I love swing jackets and this one is really cute!
I really, really, really like the yellow swing jacket! I am unfamiliar with the style but it looks great with your outfit.
Per usual, you've pulled together a fabulously chic & stylish outfit. We luv how you can make one unique (yet great staple) piece work in so many ways! Thanks!
All- thanks for the luv for our swing jacket. You should get a sneak peak at our S2010 Collection http://www.flickr.com/photos/kmartdesign/4188451363/ Luv to hear your thoughts...
