Daily Outfit - 12/21/09

dailywear

It's a good thing that Christmas is this week because wrapped gifts are taking over my living room! And I've already had one Christmas and gotten rid of about 15 gifts from beneath the tree. Last week the inspiration calendar called for "dressy plaid". I didn't get around to it then, but decided to pair this new plaid shirt with a skirt for today.

12/21/09

Green/White/Navy Plaid Shirt - LL Bean (random I know, but I ordered gifts from there for family and decided to get this for myself), on sale for $16 (Dec. 2009)
Navy Satin Trim Cardi - Old Navy, on sale for $16 (Dec. 2009)
Necklace - compliments of Maurices (Nov. 2009)
Navy Skirt - Thrifted, $3 (Summer 2009)
Navy Belt- came with a dress
Gray Tie Heels - Shoedazzle, $39 (Nov. 2009)

L.L. Bean has some really great stuff! They've certainly got their basics and classics covered.

On another random catalog brand, my mother told me that I am now totally uncool because all the clothing items I wanted for Christmas were from Land's End. (A fleece and a peacoat, but still...)

You look great and I love getting things from catalogs every now and then. It makes them a little more unique in a lot of ways.

Hey Kimberly!

Are you doing Kim Kardashians shoe dazzle site? If so, how have you liked it so far? I have been debating on joining it. But I don't want 4 inch heel-only options! Can you let me know what you think? Drop me a line @circleofstyle.blogspot.com, thanks!!

Kimberly, I think shoedazzle is a neat concept. I see Kim Kardashian tweeting about it all the time. Maybe after the holidays I will sign up and see how I like it. I hesitated because I just don't like super trendy heels (like the peep toe boots..a girl cannot get down with those in the winter in the Midwest. My toes would be freezing or I would get snow in them!) Haha. Thanks for the info!

Have a Merry Christmas!

I love this navy look on you, Kimberly! Such good textures and whatnot. (Yeah, whatnot is a "fashion" term) :)
