Daily Outfit - 11/17/09

dailywear

Are you having a case of deja vu? Well you aren't wrong for feeling that way. This outfit is VERY similar to one that I wore not quite a month ago, but what can I say it what works for me on this rainy day full of work and class.

you look fabulous!

I have been striving to embrace the belt/cardi look, but always end up looking very lumpy. Any advice?

Belting that ruffly cardi is such a great idea - all the femininity with none of the bulk!

When in a rush, you gotta go with what you know! I love this twist on the outfit though. So pretty and polished!

Thanks, ladies!

As for the belt/cardi combo, I think one of the key things is to make sure the cardi and layers are thin and lightweight but I don't have any real secrets!

K - the necklace is just a bunch of clear beads (some with AB coating) that I put on headpins and attached to a chain. I'll try to take some close-up pics and share in the future.

Also, here are a couple of more Alloy promo codes to try:
Free Shipping on $25+ order at Alloy. Code SHIP25A (Exp. 12/17/2009)

$20 off $50+ order at Alloy. Code 20ALL50 (Exp. 11/19/2009)

I swear I've seen about three variations on this sweater now - anthro, kohls, and ann taylor. Nice to have some different price points. I bought mine at Kohls on super sale and will have to try belting it the next time I wear it. Loving it with your necklace, too. You have the best accesories!
