The Calendar says "Stripes with denim and a pop of color" and I said sounds like a great combo! As I looked in my closets last night to figure out what to wear today I really wanted to stay true to the outfit inspiration calendar because I think it is such a fun combo. There were so many combinations that I could have done, but decided to give this fun bright limey-yellow jacket another wear.

This is so bizarre. I haven't looked at your calender, and last night I was trying to decide what to wear today and I planned on my yellow cropped jacket and a striped shirt underneath. Wow..crazy. Love how you did the look. I read your blog everyday and love what you do. Keep up the great work!

Your cape always makes me smile as it reminds me of a my favourite TV show when I was little (Nanny & The Professor). Nanny wore a blue cape outdoors and I always wanted one!! The shield brooch is just marvelous. I wonder if it came from something important like a uniform?
