Ask and you shall receive, kappapsichica! I pulled together a few more capes for you to shop - unfortunately, not all of them are as a good of a price as the Chadwick's cape featured here. Also, there isn't a huge selection available yet, but I think you will see more and more capes in stores and online as we move into October and November.
Clockwise from Top Left:
Fleece Cape - OneStopPlus, $29.99-34.99
a.n.a® Tie-Front Cape - JC Penney, $29.99
Military-style buffalo plaid cape - Newport News, $29.99
Cape-style jacket - Newport News, $49
Center: Cable-knit cape - Newport News, $49
Clockwise from Top Left:
Wool-Blend Cape - Spiegel, $79
Toggle Sweater Cape - OneStopPlus, $54.99
Plaid Capelet - OneStopPlus, $69.99
Sweater Cape - OneStopPlus, $49
Center: Wool blend Cape - Spiegel, $109
As for flattering capes - keep the bottom portion of your look streamlined with tailored pants, jeans, or a slim skirt to keep the overall look from being too bulky and lacking shape. Selecting a belted cape will help keep your girly silhouette also. Another key thing is the length of the cape - a cape that hits at the bottom of the hip or mid-thigh will keep it from looking overpowering on your frame.
Another fun "coat-alternative" is to belt a large wrap. Now, this isn't the easiest outerwear selection to take off and on, but its a great look to wear to an outdoor sports practice, an afternoon at the orchard, bonfire get-together, etc. It will keep you warm this fall and you will look ooh-la-la chic!
I've also seen similar wraps at Dots, Burlington Coat Factory and other stores for $15-$20.

I love the whole cape look. I bought myself two the end of last winter and I can't wait till it get cold enough to wear them.
I am loving the cable knit cape!!!!
The belted wrap looks fantastic! Gotta remember that for some of my gigantor scarves later this season ...
