I seem to be running a week behind with the Inspiration Calendar these past couple of days! I didn't set out to wear Black and Ivory ala Miss Amy, but more wanted to create a simple outfit that would work for work, as well as, the Self-Defense Traning Course I am attending this afternoon. I figured flats and pants would work best for the training instead of my norm of dresses and heels. In the end, the black and ivory color palette served me well as I pulled out a couple of tops that haven't seen much action in my wardrobe in the past.
Ivory Shirt w/ flower embellishment - Kmart, clearance for $8 (March 2009)
Black V-neck Shirt w/ tie at waist - Walmart, clearance for $5 (2008)
Black Pants - Lane Bryant Outlet, $30 (Summer 2009)
Black Necklace - Canal Street/NYC, ? (Fall 2008)
Snakeskin Flats - Burlington Coat Factory, $15 (Sept. 2009)
