I have two of these shirt dresses and while they are short sleeved I tend to wear them more in the fall and winter when I can pair them with tights. You see the last button at the bottom treads a bit to close to "not appropriate" territory especially when sitting. However, today I solved that by layering over a skirt which I have seen so many others do with great success. As an added bonus it gives an extra pop of color when sitting and walking! (Please excuse the weird shadow making my head look extra large.)

I have that same dress in pink. I also have a problem with it being a bit too short. I just recently wore it over a brown skirt because I had seen you and others do that.

That is such a good idea! I have a dress very similar to that one, but it is on the shorter side and I am never sure what to pair it with. Maybe I'll have to try some of my various skirts to layer underneath. What a great tip! Thanks!

I've never put a colored skirt beneath a dress, it's always been black dress/black skirt. I'm going to have to try that out! You look gorgeous in this combo! And I always LOVE the purple heels :)
I did the same with my brown dress.. except I wore a dress and had a lot more buttons undone so it sort of looked like the dress was an "over jacket". I love your yellow colours so much more than the browns I wore though. And you have such cute shoes too!
