1940's Look:
My items on the right consist of a shirt from Macy's (Winter 2009), belt for TJ Maxx (Summer 2009) and pants from JC Penney (Winter 2009)
Poncho:
I scored this poncho earlier this summer at the Goodwill Outlet for about $3.
Shrunken Blazer:
I nabbed this blazer while thrifting in July for $2 (it still had its original $179 price tag on it!)
Jeweled Bib Necklace:
I still love this necklace that I made this past spring for a fraction of the price of buying one!
Leopard Cardi:
I bought this cardi at NY & Co earlier this year for an absolute steal of $6!
Leather Bomber:
Okay, so I don't have a leather bomber jacket, but I do have this awesome motorcycle jacket (from QVC) that I can't wait to wear again this fall!
Faux Fur Vest:
Another awesome thrift find for $4!
Turtlenecks and Dresses:
This was one of my fav go-to combos this past winter, and I know it will be again this fall/winter (both items are from Target)!
Cape:
When I saw this awesome cape with its original tags from the 70s I let out a little squeal at the Goodwill Outlet (paid about $3). Can't wait for some cooler temps to debut this beauty.
Wide Short Sleeve Belted Jacket:
Scored this jacket last fall at NY & Co for $40 (with a coupon).
Amelia Earhart Inspired Sweater/Shirt Combo:
Layering this tie blouse from NY & Co under a gray sweater for Target replicates the look of the $100 sweater Lucky showcases.
Shoes:
I bought these tweed peep toes 4 years ago, Dave bought me the Cowboy Boots for Christmas 2005, and I have several pairs of platform pumps. Looks like my shoes will continue to be in style this year!
Scarves:
I have all sorts of scarves and love that they are still going to be a major player in the fashion game!
So, ladies, how about you? Is your closet already stocked full of on-trend fall fashions?

I totally thought of you when I saw that jeweled bib necklace in this month's issue! You are so ahead of the curve.
I'm like you...I'm ready for fall :-)
Great finds in your own closet! Sometimes I need a reality check to stop buying and just wear the pretty clothes I already own. I really LOVE that black leather jacket, BTW! I can't wait to see what you pair it with.
My gosh, you and your closet are amazing! I am going to have to dig deep in my closet. I hope I find stuff half as great as yours!
Amazing wardrobe lady! How did you make that necklace? Would love to learn and try.
Holy cow, you really do have so much of what they show! You are all set for a fashionable fall.
Wow...I guess I need to get on the ball....I do have a few of those things...I really want a faux fur vest and leopard cardi though. I never have much luck when I hit the thrift stores...maybe I just need to go more often. Thanks for the inspirations.

You are SO ahead of the game, lady!
ah yes this is why i love fashion magazines. inevitably, i have something that is similar or will work in copying a look. so much inspiration to be found at no cost!
This was a really fun post! I hope you do more of these in the future.
For Cindy (a few comments above), I have seen lots of leopard print cardis on the clearance racks at department stores like Sears, JCPenney's, and Younkers. Try your luck before cold weather comes and the prices go up!
I have a new post on my blog- that mentions you a bit- perhaps you might want to read it ; )
Wow looks like you have got a great start on all those fall looks. I really like that NY&C jacket.
Fall and winter is my favorite time for fashion. I can't get enough of boots, coats, and scarfs!
Hii! I check your blog all the time and really enjoy it!
I love your boots, do you mind me asking who made them?
I would love to know! Thanks!
:)
Does it count that I just found some great stuff in my closet at Mom's house?
And now that I'm down almost 40 lbs. the clothes fit great too. :)
WoW, you've got it all!!! :)
Thanks, ladies!! I adore Fall Fashion and just couldn't help but share all the great stuff I can't wait to pull back out of the closet!
Fashion Addict - I mainly use the leather jacket as a lightweight outdoor coat for going out, etc. I did wear it with this outfit and felt very bad ass!
Passionate Goof - I actually did a DIY tutorial on the Jeweled Bib Necklace - you can check it out here!
Casey. - My boots are Rampage and Dave purchased them at LS Ayers (before Macy's took over the world).
Kenz - 40 pounds is great!! You go girl!
well aren't you just the regular trend-setter? :)
i haven't even started considering fall trends yet, since i desperately want to cling to summer. i did hear that purple was big, which makes me happy.
i wish!! i need to get on the ball and start thrifting for fall.
Speaking of scarves ..
Kimberly, I've put my post about the Travelling Scarf up. I've emailed you a couple of times but maybe somehow I've become junk mail or something?
Sorry to put it in a comment, just didn't want to be the reason the next lucky person has to wait so long.
