The forgotten accessory . . .

shop

For many of us less than 20/20 fashionistas our eyeglasses play a major role in our overall apperance. However, most of the time we only have one pair of glasses that we would be caught dead out the house in. The main reason for this - cost!! My last pair of glasses cost me almost $300 and that was with insurance. It makes it hard for a gal to have a pair perfect for every outfit!

Well, no more - - GlassesUSA has trendy and frugal prescription eyeglasses a plenty! Just click on this link to find the numerous pairs of glasses you can score for $19 - 60 (and that even includes the single-vision prescription lenses!!).

Also, with GlassesUSA's full 100% Satisfaction Guarantee it is easy to return/exchange them if for some reason they don't work for you. As an extra bonus GlassesUSA "recycles" the returned prescription glasses and donates the pairs to various oganizations around the US so they can in turn be redistributed to people all around the world who can't afford vision care! That's one of my favorite combos - fashion and philanthropy and it doesn't get more awesome than that!

Oh but wait, it does - - use code Mommy5 and save an additional 5% off your final order!! Now Frugal Fashionistas, you can have a different pair of glasses for everyday of the week!

Check out me in my new pair of Freedom Eyeglasses! Next of my list of to get's are the Kim (how appropriate?!) in Red!

I need backup glasses SO bad. My lenses cost me over $600 (with my 25% insurance discount, I have one lazy eye that needs stupid special lens and I have progressive trifocals, I rule at life) But I KNOW my glasses are gonna break and I will be SOL. I really did the no bottom frame look on you. I can't do that because of my rx but it looks really cool.

I love you for posting this. I've always wanted a couple extra pairs to match with different outfits, and now I can! Yay!

THose frames look great on you! How did you pick out a pair? I always end up trying on every pair at the store and online buying seems tricky without a try-on.

Kim,
I thought I was the only one who paid ridiculous prices for my eyewear, WITH insurance! So thank you for posting this. I've never bothered to go anywhere else besides my usual eye doctor (even though I'm sure I could get better prices!), but I think I will give GlassesUSA a try.
Thanks!!

Those look great on you.

I am also curious how you decided on a pair without trying them on? I have a hard enough time going into the doctor's office and picking something out.
