*I am aware that Indian Style isn't the most PC to say, so I googled alternatives and found that Criss Cross Applesauce is a synonym. I learn something new every day!
Thanks so much for all of the great reader questions I have been receiving. I try to tackle a couple of each week and still have some I am trying to get to. In order to make submitting questions, thoughts and ideas that much easier I have added a simple form powered by kontactr to the bottom of the page.
Simply fill out this form and I will receive an email from you!
Also, I will be creating the July Outfit Inspiration Calendar soon, so feel free to submit any ideas that you have for it! Don't forget we would love to have you as a member of the Flickr Group showcasing your inspired outfits also.
Also, just a quick Etsy Shop Update - I have added some great vintage scarves that I scored at a recent estate sale along with some rings made from vintage clip-on earrings. More updates will hopefully be coming in the next few days as well.

ya know! i think i have that same scarf but i've never even worn it! i like the way you have paired it here with black, white, and turquoise. the turquoise belt and necklace=TOTES stunning. love them!
I love your take on the boho-maxi-skirt look, lady! I feel the same way about mine - worry about issues of flattery - but dang, it's comfy.
I totally agree - love the comfort of a long skirt, but I do feel a little frumpy. But I'm usually too comfy to care :)
Smile, I use criss cross applesauce in Kindergarten all of the time. My students understand what it means. I love the outfit!
I just bought a maxi dress a few weeks ago, but haven't found an opportunity to wear it. I could probably wear it to work with a cami and a shrug without much to-do, but I feel it belongs out on the town, not under fluorescent lights. I'm thinking a maxi skirt would be more office-friendly, though. Definitely something to think about. I like how you styled yours!
I dont do maxi dresses or maxi skirt cause i too feel frumpy....but i think you look nice....cute sandals and scarf
I think you look fantastic. I personally don't understand the association with maxi skirts and frumpyness.
Long skirts in general always make me feel frumpy unless they are super straight and have some sort of split.
In any event, I like this outfit; the belt and necklace especially, and the belt accentuates your small waistline which helps to alleviate frumpiness!
I find the maxi dress hard to wear. You'd think that since dresses look great that a longer one would be okay .. but no!
The skirt is different though as you still are able to belt in your own hourglass shape. I think it looks good on you. I really love that shade of blue.
I love those cutie little sandals! Lovely casual yet smart look! Have a great weekend girl!
I love that turquoise belt. I'm personally not a big fan of the maxi dress style, but I think you wear it well here :)
