Happy April, everyone! Two more weeks to file your taxes! Hope everyone's PCs stay safe from the mean Conficker Virus!
My advice to every woman out there - buy a bright, colorful straight-cut/pencil skirt. It ups your feelings up sassiness by at least double which is always a good thing! :-)
Floral Blouse - Dots, $18 (March 2009)
Black/White Cardi - Goodwill Outlet, about a $1 (March 2009)
Black Belt - Mark/Avon, $7 (2007)
Red Skirt - Thrifted, $3.29 (Feb. 2009)
Tights - ??
Booties - Kmart Online, $28 (Jan. 2009)

I took your advice before you'd even dispensed it and thrifted a red pencil skirt this weekend. Aren't they the BEST?
You look like you're losing weight!!! You're looking FABULOUS!! =D
You are definitely making this outfit! Gorgeous!
I thrifted a bright red skirt for a mere 50 cents but always thought it was too darn bright so I never wear it. You've inspired me to try again...
I love your red pencil skirt! I have a black one and I'm afraid to wear it because I think it needs a slip and I hate slips.
Love the red skirt. Have you lost a great deal of weight? If not it looks like it. Red is my favorite color.
So sassy! I love the way that cardi looks with the belt, too.
You look fantastic as always!!! Thanks to you, I discovered Dots on my trip to the US. I actually think I bought the same blouse that you are wearing in this pic.
You are always inspiring!!
you look fantastic! i'm loving everything about this. and i want your boots!
What! Kmart ? So so cute! I love those shoes!
The Cardi was $1???...Wow...cute outfit!
Are those shoes really high?? I really want to purchase some but am skeptical on the comfort.
"Black/White Cardi - Goodwill Outlet, about a $1 (March 2009)"
Just wow.
Ladies - thanks for the sweet words! I said it once and I will say it again - rock those red skirts!
Trisha & Anon As for the weight loss, I have lost about 15 pounds over the past couple of months. I'm kind of on a plateu right now, but trying to break through it and loose some more! Thanks for noticing.
Igodi - The booties are really tall - about 4.5". During the work day I am at a desk or sitting in a conference room about 80% of the time so I find them comfortable (plus, I wear heels almost daily so I am use to them). I have worn them "out" a couple of times where I was on my feet or walking for about 6-8 hours and they were also surprisingly comfortable then. I think for the price they are a great shoe.
Milly & Sweet Torts When I saw the Chanel-esque material across the Goodwill Outlet I ran over to it. When I saw it was in good condition and my size I knew it was meant to be! :-)
Look how friggin tiny your waist is! I love this look..very modern Jackie O.
