Daily Oufit - 04/30/09

dailywear

Drawing upon inspiration from the amazing Archibald Maximillion's outfit this past Tuesday on Flickr's Wardrobe Remix I decided to layer on the scarf with a couple of necklaces today (thanks, AM) and while the final look is no where as perfect as her's it works for a rainy Thursday at work.

Also, I wanted to define my waist a bit without wearing a belt, so opted to tie my shirt at the waist. Hopefully it comes off as more chic than Daisy Duke, and I popped the collar for good measure.

Kimberly, I am loving the dress topped off w/ the scarf/ necklaces combo. Tres Chic!!! Also, I think the tied shirt looks great, not Daisy Duke at all...Now if you had it on over a tank top and some cut off jean shorts that'd be another story LOL. PS - You are really making me want to go ahead and bite the bullet and buy those bumpits, was it hard to use, i.e. hard to cover up??

Definitely chic. And VERY cute!

Oo is that a bumpit? What do you think about it? I always watch the commercials with amazment, but I'm just not sure how it would work in real life. It looks so great on you though! Maybe I'll reconsider!

Yes, yes...You gotta talk about bumpits. I'm with the others and inches away from purchasing. I have curly hair, has anyone seen it with waves or curls??

Thank you all! I really liked how yesterday's outfit all came together, so thanks for agreeing with me! :-)

For all my bumpit gals that want to know more. An awesome friend of mine was planning on doing a review and how-to of the bumpits for her blog and she graciously is allowing me to post about it here too. Make sure you check next week for the bumpit post. Thanks again, Hillary!!

First, I haven't been on the site in the last few days...and now that I'm looking at the posts your legs look thinner. I'm just saying. You seriously look thinner.

Secondly, the hair is awesome. And now I really want to try a bumpit. I'm just saying.

Third, I've wondered about wearing a scarf and a necklace. And now I know than in the right situations I can do it.

Yay!
