Daily Outfit - 02/15/09

Two outfit postings in one weekend - this never happens!

Usually Sundays are pretty lazy days around our place, but as part of my Valentine's Day present Dave offered to take me to see Confessions of a Shopaholic today. Now, normally, I more than happily leave Dave at home for chick flicks and go with my girls and/or mom instead, but since he offered I took him up on it! Needless to say, I doubt he offers again anytime soon! :-)

021509

Black L/S Tee - Target (?), $9
Plum S/S Turtleneck - Dots (Feb. 2009), clearance for $9
Scarf - Express (2002), ??, but I am sure less than $20
Jeans - Avenue (Nov. 2007), on sale for $18
Jeweled Flats - Urban Originals (Jan. 2008), $8 + embellishment by me (more details below)
Silver Locket - Bitten by SJP (Summer 2008), $5

Also, in honor of today's viewing I used a bit of eyeshadow and bronzer from Too Face's Confessions of a Shopaholic Palette.

I'm sure I've said this before, but you are insanely pretty...Good for you!

I LOVED the movie. I actually went alone (at the same time as one of my best friends who lives in the midwest) so it was kind of like we watched it together. We are silly like that. =)

Love the plum!!!

I think this color looks great on you. The length of the top and the puffy sleeves are really flattering too.

PS. My word verification is 'geless'. It mad me giggle because I'm totally geless (jealous)of your super cute DIY shoes.

Thanks, ladies (especially, Sweet Torts ~ you are too kind!) I really like how this outfit turned out. While, I don't normally repeat exact outfits I might just repeat this one this coming weekend. I will be in St. Louis and need some cute, casual outfits. Also, I find it best to pack outfits that you know you like so you don't have any surprises hundreds of miles away!
