Reader Question - Prices

Just out of curiosity, how do you keep track of how much you spent on each piece? I can always remember when I got a great deal on something, but there's not way I can remember exactly what I paid for everything in my closet. Do you keep a journal or a list?

Well, WML, you know how some people can hear a song once and then remember the lyrics and sing-a-long from there on out? That is me and prices. For some reason I have a brain built to remember ridiculous stuff such as the prices I pay for stuff. Granted, occasionally, I will be uncertain and go back on the blog and double check, but those are few and far in between. I thought about starting a list once when I first started the blog, but I was scared at the idea of having an itemized list of just how much I have spent on clothes and shoes!!

Thanks for the question!

I remember stuff I don't NEED to remember too. However, with that comes the ability to remember what I should and where every spice in our cabinets is located. It's helpful for when Al's cooking and does the typical "Honey, where's the cumin seeds?" after glancing at the cabinet for about .5 seconds. "Second shelf, to the left, behind the ginger powder, glass jar, black lid." "Oh. There it is." *sigh*

I can remember exactly where I bought an item of clothing and when, and it makes it terrible for me to get rid of them! I'm very "Oh, I got this at such and such store on vaca with so and so!"

It's like how some people scrapbook their memories, I buy clothes. LOL
