Daily Outfit - 2/24/12 & 2/25/12

I decided to round out the week last week in jeans and stripes. It wasn't planned that way, but my love of stripes has left lots of them in my closet.

On Thursday I did a muted color palette with navy and brown. I covered up some of the cutest details of these tee because while the front is navy/cream stripes the pocket and whole back of the shirt is camel/cream stripes.  But winter temps and wind return to Indy this past week, so a cardigan was needed!

On Friday I decided to brighten things up a bit with this neon and grey sweater I scored during Gap's 40% President Day Sale. I've documented my love of a neutral and neon mixes before and it is a trend I am still not over!  I can't wait to pair this lightweight sweater with a pair of white jeans and sandals this spring!

Daily Outfit - 2/22/12

Bright pink. Final clearance. Smaller size than I am use to wearing. All of these things joined together in a glorious trinity in this skirt! I was immediately attracted to the color and fabric this past weekend while shopping at Gap. There were only two skirts left in a size 2 and 10, so I started to dismiss it. Luckily my friend, Emily, grabbed the 10 and said this would totally fit you. How right she was!

Daily Outfit - 2/21/12

Despite taking this picture at 6 in the morning, I was all smiles because I love this dress so much! The pattern immediately caught my eye while out shopping, but the fabric, it being fully lined, the awesome exposed zipper up the back and the clearance price of $32 sealed the deal for sure!

I don't have winter navy heels, so I decided pair this bright necklace with the dress to tie in a pop of color with the purple shoes.

Daily Outfit - 2/20/12

It seems I was one of the few that worked on President's Day, but that is okay because I will gladly turn in my "floating holiday" later in the spring. It was a quiet day at the office with no meetings, and I knew tossing on jeans and this fun snakeprint cardigan was the way to go. Both were recent finds at the big Nordstrom Rack clearance sale (I got 3 dresses also and my total was less than just the regular price of this cardigan! Yay for clearance!)

Daily Outfit - 2/17/12

For some reason my camera didn't want to focus correctly on Friday morning, and since I was just wearing a simple casual outfit of jeans and a top I didn't fight it much by taking more than a couple of pictures. You have to love a carefree printed blouse and wedges to take you through a day at work to shopping and dinner out with a friend.
