Outfit Peeks via Instagram

I haven't hauled out the tripod in a couple of weeks to snap a picture, but I have snapped a couple glimpses of my outfits with my iPhone. Thought I would share in case you haven't seen them already!

Mint is my fav color this spring!  Dave got me this amazing big bauble necklace for Christmas and when I spied these mint wedge sandals on Zulily a couple of weeks ago I just had to get them.  I know this necklace/sandal combo will be worn a ton this spring and summer with lots of clothes in between.  The top is DownEastBasics via Zulily (seriously my fav "flash sale site" - their prices are so fab finds friendly!) and the wide leg jeans are Ann Taylor via Goodwill (gotta love finding a pair of practically new Ann Taylor jeans for $3 vs. their usual $88!)

I felt a little silly buying these Zara-look-a-like sandals back in December, but loved pulling them on last week.  I paired them with cuffed up black jeggings, a white tee and a khaki knit vest.  The sandals scored comments all day long!

Look at these mini tassles!  When I spied this vintage floral scarf with the tassels for only $4 on 10DollarMall.com I knew I had to grab it (available in light blue too).  It was great to toss on with a white tier tee from Target (professed my love for these tees here), casual cardi and jeans

And a while later I paired the same green cardi from 10dollarmall.com with my tier tee from Target and my polka dot jeggings that I posted about here.  Based on tweets, comments here and on Instagram it sounds like a lot of you were going to grab a pair of these $12 jeggings.  Hope you love them as much as I do!

And the polka dots got another wearing out - this time on a warmer day with a tee and Toms.

And lastly, here is what I wore on Tuesday.  I paired a polka dot cardi with a fabulous Zebra Scarf from Zulily (I told you it was a fav shopping spot of mine!).

I hope all of you are having a great April!

Sale - Personalized Bracelets

If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen the photo bracelet or monogram bracelet that I have been wearing recently.  I've gotten so many compliments and requests from family and friends to make them that I thought I would post this on here in case any of my fab readers want one also.

The price is $18 and includes shipping.  Purchase with the Buy Now Button below or email me at kimberly@fabfindsunder50.com.  If you have any questions let me know!

The photos and monograms are approximately 1.25" and are printed with commercial grade equipment on high quality photo paper so the clarity and colors are great. If you select a monogram the following colors are available (all will have a white background):

Polka Dot Pants

Polka Dot Pants have been popping up every where and they just scream SPRING to me! I especially love them paired with stripes and other patterns.

I mean, just check out some of these fab looks I've come across on Pinterest.

However, I hadn't found a pair for myself yet, and to attempt to DIY seemed a bit too daunting (seriously, my polka dots would have been all over the place).

So yesterday when I did a quick scan of Walmart.com I was thrilled to see a pair of jeggings in a dark rinse and white polka dots. Even better, they were only $12 with $0.97 shipping.  I happen to really like Faded Glory Jeggings (I've pretty much worn the black and dark rinse pairs I have at least once weekly). They are available in sizes 2-18.
I just wanted to share in case you wanted to add some polka dots to your wardrobe at a fab find price!

Fashion Flashback - Come on Spring!

I know the Blogosphere and Twittersphere are filled with complaints about Mother Nature and Spring Fever Whoas, but I just have to say a year ago I was wearing this:

and instead the scene out my window is looking more like this (this was a pic from yesterday morning):

Things are looking and feeling slightly better outside today, but I just had to vent. I can't wait to ditch my boots and socks for flats and peep toes!

What are you wishing for today?

Daily Outfit - 3/23/13

I was lucky enough to not only score this Kirna Zabete for Target dress at Goodwill, but I scored it on Half Off Day and with my rewards card it ended up being less than $3. (Side Note - I have to say the Kirna Zabete line was one of my favs at Target in a long time. I ended up with 1 shirt, 2 skirts, 2 dresses, and a sweater from the collection - all either on clearance or at Goodwill though, so perhaps I am the only one with those feelings).

But back to the dress, I knew layering under it was the way to go, because to make it work appropriate it definitely needed something underneath. Also, I wanted to stay away from the standard cardigan with the sleeveless dress layering. So, this sheer black and white polka dot blouse was perfect for layering, plus it added some great pattern mixing.
